How to Improve Your Life in Under 60 Seconds

If you are tired of watching your life as ahighlight reelinstead of being in the driver's seat, this message is for you.

Becoming the most influential, positive person you’ve dreamed of becoming, someone who creates, organizes, and dominates this life as we know it, can be exhilarating.

Seeing your passions become successful projects that bring joy to your life can open up doors like never before.

But you must understand what could happen if you choose not to embark on this journey.

If You Choose to Ignore Your Purpose, You May Miss Out On Your God-Given Abundance

When a person's life becomes predictable and they begin to feel lost: They scour the internet for people who are going through the same thing.

  • They try to find influencers who understand their lives
  • They purchase  Claim to Fame” books
  • They buy so many new and improved processes that they begin to wonder if anything will help them with their despair

And let’s say, you choose to do nothing at all.  You decide that you can live with knowing you may never achieve your goals.

You carry on with your life and one day when you are older and grayer, you begin to have regrets; regrets that will haunt you throughout your golden years because you choose to ignore your true potential.

How I Turned My Life From Negative to Positive and Free-Flowing

I have an answer that works.  Here is the story.  In 2022, I lost it all.  I had a great job that paid fairly decently, an apartment in a great city, and an SUV I loved.  I traveled to many places that excited my love of nature and wanderlust.  I spent hours reading and exploring places I wanted to see and do.

Then, just like that.

One thing led to another and I was soon living in a family member's room, sulking about how many things I had lost in the blink of an eye.

I was alone with debt up to my eyeballs and a toddler who still needed diapers more than I needed sleep.  Then the red emotion hit me.  I was angry.

  • I was angry with myself.
  • I was angry with God.
  • I was angry with life,

because in some way, I believed I didn’t deserve to be going down this spiraling road of despair.  But as I sat in this room, watching my child play with no cares in the world, something dawned on me.

I was sitting in a much better situation than in past years.  Especially the years when I experienced homelessness.

I was sitting in a better situation than people I knew who had experienced house fires and engine blowouts.  I was in a much better situation because I was able to see the bigger picture.

But there was something I had to do first.

I had to become grateful.

Not just the average kind of grateful.  No, I had to get into the present and see everything I had.

I had to become aware of the benefits of living where I was, eating how I was, and spending time with my child the way I was.

I had to see the silver lining in the middle of the storm.

And when I became aware of all the wonderful things I was experiencing, things majestically began to shift.

Finally, it is Your Turn.

When you shift your mindset, you will change the trajectory of your life.  Begin your day by setting a positive intention.

  • Close your eyes and take 3 deep breaths.
  • Remind yourself, 'Today, I will focus on progress, not perfection.
  • Find 3 positive things that are in your life and have gratitude for those things.

Starting small will allow you to feel good about your progress while pushing you to continue to dream big.

It is Decision Time

You have a choice to make.  Do what you have been doing (or worse, nothing.)  You know where that will lead.

Is that really what you want to do?

Or take a new action and get a new result for your life and finally, see where your dreams and purpose meet to create the life you desire.  Start small, but dream big.
