I'm a complete nerd when it comes to this subject.  I have found myself deep in the trenches with folks I believed to be dear to me only to find when “life happened”, they were quick to slide out.


No disrespect.  


But I like to ‘call a spade a spade’ and true friends, true friends.


This is not a bashing session, this is a quick uplifting moment for those who may find themselves at the bottom.  The bottom of the bottom.


Do me a favor?  


Close your eyes and think of the last time you really needed to create something or finish a project?


Who was rooting for you?


Who was your cheerleader?


Or did you, like I've done many times before, find yourself looking for inspiration on all social media outlets to encourage you to keep pushing?


If you answered, YES, to the latter, then this message is definitely for you.  


We all have dreams that get buried deep down under work, family, school work, life….and those dreams are dying to get back to the forefront of your life.


It's dying for the right time when YOU’LL  rediscover its beauty, its true authenticity.  


But this desire is a gentleman, it's not going to rush you. Nah, it's going to lay dormant until you BREATHE life into it.

What I know is that your friends may talk about you, your family may look at you negatively, your co-workers may despise you, so sis you might as well,

What Problem Have You Solved Today?

When I was in school, I would always hear our science teacher tell our class to, “ Figure it out, ” in response to a question that needed answering.   We (our small class groups) would then come up with our hypotheses and test it.  We would test our answer many times, to the point that we sometimes wanted to give up.   But once we read over a few books and talked out our problems amongst ourselves, we were able to create multiple answers to the one problem our teacher tasked us with. How does this correlate with now? “Someone is out there waiting on YOU to show up and they can’t get to their NEXT level until you show them how.” I’m serious. If we look at our lives and take inventory of the problems we’ve faced throughout our years of living and the answers we’ve created for those problems, it would probably stretch around the globe. Less Coffee, More Focus

This is not an all out campaign to end the sale of coffee. This is not an attempt to explain the health benefits of drinking coffee or not drinking coffee. No, quite the opposite . Let me explain. Years ago, I worked the night shift for an airline.  I worked in customer service so I had my fair share of reasons why I'd hit up Starbucks before my shift would start.  The real reason I needed coffee was because I was typically tired before my shift. I was also exhausted after my actual shift ended, well before my mandatory overtime was over. You see, I lived where I could afford .  My $10-12 bucks an hour wouldn't afford a place near my job.  No.  So, I found a small town about an hour or so away from the company's parking garage and moved there.   On to the next step.   I would take the shuttle bus about another hour to the concourse where we'd meet as a group for another 20 minutes.
